Welcome to the 13th Annual
International SCT Conference

April 14-20, 2012  San Francisco, CA

With pride and satisfaction we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 13th Annual International SCT Conference in San Francisco, California. Our Conference will give you an opportunity to learn and explore about the leading edges and applications in systems-centered thinking and its broad range of contexts. This year's theme, Emotional Intelligence for Real World Solutions: Methods for Change in Clinical, Educational and Organizational Contexts, bridges both the theoretical and the practical in exploring how to develop systems-centered systems. The systems-centered approach builds a system that enables the people and the system to develop and transform. The offerings range from theory to hands-on techniques, with choices for those wanting tools to apply in their work settings, and/or in-depth training in theory and practice. We are particularly excited about the range of workshops highlighting applications of SCT in clinical practice, pastoral counseling, education, organizational development, mind-body therapy, SAVI and interpersonal neurobiology.

In addition to foundation and intermediate level training opportunities, the Conference offers an increased range of advanced training tracks with the goal of providing a worthwhile professional and personal experience during this Conference week. This year’s program offers a particular focus on the rich variety of experience of those developing and applying SCT theory and methods in a wide range of contexts and in making links with other models of change.

Feedback from previous attendees consistently emphasizes that taking part in the Annual Conference is more than just participating in training and workshops - to be part of a system for a whole week that is a living application of the theory and methods gives an extra dimension to this training and learning opportunity.

Whether you are attending an SCT conference for the first time or the 13th time, our program is designed to provide useful, rich and enjoyable experiences to help you discover new pathways towards influencing and building the systems in which we live, work and play.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
